Zhu Tiantian was born in China, and moved to the UK at the age of 19. She currently lives in London, and is working actively as a sound artist.

2009
Featured in BBC Radio 3 programme Hear and Now.
Performed in an improvisational live concert Shuffle I: Postcards with ensemble Notes Inégales at Kings Place Festival.
Selected by the Sound and Music organization to join The Shortlist, a talent pool of emerging sonic artists and a programme of discovery, promotion and professional development.
Short film Memories of Home was selected to screen in Evenings of Delight event presented by Shoppinghour, at Candid Art Trust, London.

2008
Audio-visual work Between the Lines was screened at the Opening Festival of Kings Place creative art centre, London.
Won the commission for an audio-visual work in an open call by the SPNM, together with visual partner, Ann Xiao.
Interactive sound installation, Sound Message Board, was commissioned and exhibited at the V&A Museum, as part of the French Connection Friday Late-Beijing event; live performance using laptop and Tenori-on.
Feature film Bane won the Best Horror Feature Film Award at Los Angeles Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival: Shriek Fest 2008.
Music Argot was used for video Seven Sins-Greed, which was commissioned for the opening exhibition of The Seven Deadlysins project by Austrian artist, Lukas Maximilian Hüller.
Employed by west London based TV Production company as an audio dubbing mixer, worked on TV shows for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV among others.

2007
Feature film Bane was premiered in Southampton, UK.
Documentary Tom Baxter-Skybound was broadcast on Channel 4.
Graduated from Bournemouth University with an MA in Sound Design.

Graduated from The University Of Nottingham with a BA in Economics.

2005
Feature length experimental film Queen Lili’s Garden was exhibited in Nanjing Triennial 2005, China.
Experimental video installation Re-birth was featured in the exhibition In The Deep Of Reality: A Case Of Chinese Contemporary Art, China.
Video installation Untitled was exhibited in Hangzhou First International Calligraphy Exhibition, China.

2004
Recorded an eponymous EP as Guan Zi Zai, using traditional Chinese musical instrument, the Guzheng.
Co-founded experimental music duo, Guan Zi Zai, with guitarist Li Jianhong.
